ABOUT US:
Your Eastwood Neighbourhood Association
Eastwood Presents to City Council!
Established in 2021, the Eastwood Neighbourhood Association of Kitchener (ENAK) is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the quality of life for the residents of Eastwood through the following objectives:
To develop closer relations among residents within the community
To provide information on community and social events
To foster civic involvement and increase goodwill
To be a voice for our common neighbourhood interests by acting as a liaison with government bodies, schools and businesses in and around our neighbourhood
We are a neighbourhood association recognized and supported by the City of Kitchener through it’s Love My Hood program.
Official Borders
While we always strive for inclusion and welcome neighbours from all over, we do have official borders registered with the city. A bird’s eye view of Eastwood, gives off the shape of a shield or a musical harp, which starts at the Expressway to the north east, then goes along Ottawa Street until it hits King Street East, then follow King down to the Expressway again.
Your Volunteer Team
The members of the Eastwood Neighbourhood Association volunteer their time to help make the neighbourhood a better place. In the future we hope that your name will be on this list as we grow and pass the torch. Interested in Volunteering? Fill out the form below to let us know how you would like to help out.

Official Logo
Our official logo incorporates a number of parts of our neighbourhood but most importantly it showcases the sun as it rises in east bringing warmth and light.
It also makes note of the various types of housing that can be found in Eastwood. And finally we wouldn’t have our name without the many beautiful trees that line our streets, backyards and parks.
Our logo was first hand drawn and designed by a member of the inaugural volunteer team. For the final step, we engaged a local designer by the name of Jon Johnson. ENAK is a promoter of supporting local businesses and we recommend checking out Jon’s website http://www.bearface.ca/
Our Community Centre (Rockway)
Our official community building is Rockway Centre located at 1405 King St East which has been serving Eastwood since 1975 with programming and services.
Featuring an auditorium/dance hall with seven program rooms, a pool/snooker room, and a cafe, the centre is equipped to offer programming in arts, education, fitness and much more.
