Montgomery Park Upgrades & Tree Planting
Request a Welcome Package for new neighbours
40 Trees Planted in Montgomery Park!
A son and father team from Eastwood leveraged a Youth Climate Action Fund to plant 40 native species trees in Montgomery Park. They were assisted by staff & students from ECI, Green Party volunteers & John’s Nursery.

Community Corner
The Eastwood volunteer team partnered with many to create a “Community Corner” near Brentwood & Montgomery Road. Neighbours share books in our little free library & post messages on our magnetic message board.
The City of Kitchener provided the funds (via a LoveMyHood grant, Modular Aluminum Products provided the materials, ECI staff & students designed & built the message board & filled the little library with books, a neighbour built the little library and we all came together for a ribbon cutting ceremony with gifts to the students provided by ENAK.
